SOME Super Division teams have objected to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) directive that all their kit be branded with sponsors MTN’s logos.
According to the circular issued by FAZ general secretary Adrian Kashala dated December 27, 2018, all clubs need to have MTN logos on their kit.

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) announced that all MTN FAZ Super League teams will have their kits branded with MTN Logos starting with the 2019 transitional league season.
FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala said MTN’s sponsorship agreement with the national football governing body included branding rights that extended to supplying of MTN logos to all Super League clubs to be affixed on the right jersey sleeves.

“We wish to inform you that the Football Association of Zambia in conjunction with MTN will be branding your team jerseys before the commencing of the 2019 FAZ/MTN Super League Seoson.


“We therefore wish to introduce Trailblazers, a company contracted by MTN Zambia, our main sponsor for the Super League.

“As part of the sponsorship ogreement, MTN hos branding rights thot extend to supplying all clubs with MTN logos that will be affixed onto the right jersey sleeve.”

Kashala further requested all clubs to corperate with Trailblazers by supplying contact details of their team managers or kit masters along with team kits comprising training kit, camp kit, warm up kit ond playing kit before the start of the season.
