Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy Pulls Out Of The Upcoming FAZ 2018 ZSL Season

Newly Promoted Kabwe Youth Soccer academy has pulled out of the 2018 ZSL citing financial capacity to run the club in the super league.

The news comes barely few months ago when KYSA owner Evans Muntangama died in India were he was taken for specialist treatment.

It is unclear who will take the position of KYSA as some teams have been sponsored in the media trying buying off slots from newly promoted teams from the zones facing financial problems.

Ever since the introduction of the zones,the ZSL has seen Clubs being promoted and demoted appearing just one season due to financial strength to cope up with the big powers of ZSL.Few clubs like Buildcon FC and Lumwana Rediants are the only ones who has managed to stay in ZSL after gaining promotion.

Last season saw three teams from the zones which gained promotion in 2016 season being sent back to the zones.

FAZ earlier announced that the zones will continue for a while as they are in a process of de-linking the league from FAZ to be run independently. Kamanga said this will enable for the the proposed National division to have a sponsor and the games will begin to be shown on TV.
