The Cerro del Espino Stadium, home to La Liga giants Atletico Madrid reserve teams and Rayo Majadajonda, will host the pre-Afcon international friendly match between African champions Cameroon and Zambia this evening.
The match will kick off at 18h30.
For both team’s, the match in the Spanish capital will be the first of a series of friendly matches lined-up ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations which kicks off on June 21 in Egypt.
After playing Zambia, Cameroon will play a practice match at the same venue with Spanish outfit Alcocorn on Monday, June 10 ahead of their friendly match against Mali to be played on June 14 in Doha.
Meanwhile, Zambia who set up base in Marrakech on Saturday will return to Morocco to continue with preparations for upcoming friendly matches with The Gambia and Morocco on 12 and 16 June respectively.
