NKANA president Evaristo Kabila has described Zesco United and Zanaco as noisy teams.Nkana and Zesco are scheduled to appeal before the Football Association of Zambia Disciplinary Committee after the match between the two sides was abandoned on July 13 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola due to crowd trouble.

“Let me tell you one thing, if you go to teams like Zesco United and Zanaco and few teams that have tasted winning and what it feels like to win titles, they make noise.

These are the teams that make a lot of noise in Zambian football,” Kabila said in an interview yesterday in Kitwe.

Kabila said Zanaco and Zesco are newcomers and cannot be compared to legendary sides like Mufulira Wanderers, Kabwe Warriors and Nkana, the three teams that dominated Zambian football in the 1980s.
