Chipoloplo gaffer Sven Vandenbroeck has bemoaned the poor state of the pitch at Lusaka’s Heroes stadium ahead of the must win encounter against Guinea Bissau next week Wednesday, understands.

Sven says he has visited the stadium and observed that the playing surface is in bad condition and that the Chipolopolo my struggle to play their carpet football they are known for.

“I have visited the Pitch a few times last week. It is not in good condition and at this moment, it is disadvantage to us (Zambia) and advantage to Guinea Bissau because i suppose they will come to Zambia to defend,” said Sven.

Lusaka’s heroes stadium will host next week’s AfCON qualifier between the Chipolopolo boys and Guinea Bissau. Kickoff will be at 17:30hrs.
