Chipolopolo boss Sven Vandenbroeck is scheduled to leave for Europe to see national team stars in person.
The Belgian revealed that the local camps are over and he shall now proceed to mointor foreign based players before announcing his final squad to face Namibia in September.
Sven’s first stop could be his native Belgium where he will run the rule over Emmanuel JR Banda and Fashion Sakala.
According to media reports, Sven said the local stars he had not seen shall be seen on the videos provided by SuperSport.
And the former Cameroun assistant coach showed he is a disciplinarian by sending away a player due to reporting late for the last training camp in Lusaka.
Sven refused to disclose the name of the player.
However, today’s Zambia Daily Mail claim the player was Lusaka Dynamos’ Mwila Phiri.
And further that Jacob Ngulube was told to stay away after failing to report on the first day.
Sven said he would not condone indiscipline and that if a player was going to report late o camp the player needs to communicate the reasons to him (Sven).
