The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have announced that Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe has been chosen to officiate the Confederation Cup final between Zamalek and RS Berkane.
The Whites have qualified for the CAF Conferedation Cup final, where they will face Morocco’s RS Berkane, following a 1-0 aggregate victory over Étoile du Sahel.
On the other hand, the Moroccan side have knocked out another Tunisian side in CS Sfaxien, and the Zamalek game will be their first-ever continental cup final.
Just two days before the game, CAF have announced that Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe will officiate the game. The 39-year-old has a lot of experience for his age, having refereed two games in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
He will be assisted by Angola’s Gerson Emiliano and Anwar Hamila from Tunisia. And the fourth referee will be Bernard Tamil from Seychelles.
