Top Zambian hard tackling Defender Kabaso Chongo has had his contract at Congolese giants extended to 2 years, Zambianfootball.news understands.

The deal will see him through to the summer of 2020 in an improved offer.

In a statement to Zambianfootball.news, club President Moise Katumbi writes;

“The TPM is very pleased to announce the extension of Kabaso Chongo’s contract for two additional seasons until September 2020, reinforcing the club’s strategy of” shielding “the contracts of its key players,”

Eliminated last weekend in the Champions League, the Katangese club is no less ambitious and made an announcement regarding future recruitment.

“The week ends with the extension of the Zambian central defender but the next will certainly start with the signing of several new players,” concludes the statement by Moses Katumbi, referring to the arrival of attackers, offensive midfielders and defenders.
