Despite rumours doing the rounds in Limpopo that coach Wedson Nyirenda could be on his way out of Baroka, the former Kaizer Chiefs striker is back at work at Bakgaga.
Nyirenda was granted compassionate leave last week due to a family bereavement.
The ex-Zambia boss therefore missed the Telkom Knockout 2-0 victory against Mamelodi Sundowns at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
However, Nyirenda has since returned to South Africa to assume his duties with the Absa Premiership strugglers.
“The coach is back in the country. He arrived back in the country yesterday,” said Baroka manager Richard Mashabane.
“He will report to training today in preparation for our league game at the weekend.”
Bakgaga are second-from-bottom on the league standings with seven points from 11 games.
They next face mid-table Golden Arrows at Princess Magogo Stadium this Saturday (15h30).
