LEGENDARY Kitwe glamour side Nkana football club beat Ndola Foes Zesco United 2-1 on Saturday afternoon to storm semi finals of the only cup competition in Zambia, Barclays.

Striker Idriss Mbombo scored a brace for Nkana through headers after ZESCO scored through Maybin Kalengo on stroke of half time.

Mbombo scored a second at the death after Tanzanian defender Hassan curled a cross into the box for him to head in.
Mbombo walked home with a K5,000 cash prize for being man of the match and a 12 month Medical cash insurance.

Earlier in an earlier kick off, Young Buffaloes defeated defending Champions ZANACO via a 2-1 scoreline.

Musonda scored a brace for the young buffaloes side that had exciting talent in Emmanuel Mwiinde on the flanks.
