Nkana and Young Buffaloes have qualified for this year’s Barclays Cup final after beating Power Dynamos and Green Buffaloes 5-4 and 4-3 on Post match penalties following a 2-2 and 1-1 draw after regulation time in the semi-final match that was poorly officiated at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka on Saturday .

Power were in front as early as 7th minute through Jimmy Dzingai assisted by Lameck Kafwaya before striker Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba headed in a Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba free kick on 27th minute .

Kalampa doubled the lead on 42 minute via Mubanga Kampamba set up by forward Sate Sate .

The Mopani sponsored by side went into half-time up by 2-1 .

However , in the second stanza , Power’s Elvis Rupia restored parity on 50th minute when he headed in a Alex Ng’onga cross .

Power were however reduced to 10 men after Ng’onga was sent off 10 minutes before full-time .

In the stoppage time , Referee Janny Sikazwe awarded Nkana penalty after Idris Illunga Mbombo was fouled inside the box .

Mbombo stepped in and converted the spot kick but referee Sikazwe disallowed the goal because Walter Bwalya stepped in the penalty yard area before the penalty was taken .

And in the 13h00 kick off ,Young Buffaloes scored first in first half through Emmanuel Mwinde on 45th but Senior Buffaloes leveled the scores on 83rd minute via Joseph Mubita .

Young Buffaloes will battle it out against Kalampa in the finals to be played at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka on 10th November .
