Zesco United have risen to the 9th best club in Africa on the CAF Club 5 Year Rankings which have been updated.

Zesco United reached the CAF Champions League for a third time this year and were previously in 15th place and will see their new position helping them with their seeding for next Years CAF Competition.

Zega will most likely rise to 8th place next year as they will overtake current 8th placed FUS Rabat of Morocco who are in 8th but haven’t made CAF Competition group stage this year with only Esperance having the possibility of also rising to 8th if Zesco finish below the position Esperance will have in the CAF Champions League this year.
