Zambian National Team Coach Sven Vandenbroek stated that the Zambian Super League is better than the Camerounian League as he announced a 23 man home based squad that will enter a 3 day training camp.

Sven who was assistant coach at the Cameroonian National Team said this after he was asked a question by Q-FMs Zite Phiri on whether he felt that Zambia’s home based players were upto the task of International football to which Sven said that based on the matches he has watched he has noted that the ZSL is on a higher level than the Cameroonian League and it would be upto players to prove themselves.

Sven has announced the squad which has seen Zesco United players omitted because they will be playing a CAF Champions League match away to Premiero De Agosto in Angola on Friday the 27th of July.
