The Zambian Super League Week 35 Weekend saw the return of Internationals David Owino and Chisamba Lungu who had been out injured as Zesco United lifted the trophy at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Zesco United 0-1 Red Arrows
The match had a bizzare beginning when Red Arrows turned up in their Red home strip which seemed to clash with Zesco’s Orange home strip until Zesco United Coach George Lwandamina said his team wouldnt continue the match which saw Arrows return in their Blue away tops.
On the pitch the return of Kenyan International David Owino from injury couldnt help Zesco as Fackson Kapumbu chested into his own net to give Arrows only thier second win over Zega since 2005 as the airmen are now unbeaten in 13 games but Zesco United still lifted the trophy after the match to celebrate their 7th title.
Buildcon 2-1 Green Eagles
A great Spencer Sautu freekick was not enough to prevent Eagles from losing as Buildcon scored through Moses Phiri and Lameck Silwaba to win in a match that saw Chisamba Lungu return after three months out Injured. Chipolopolo gaffer Sven Vandenbroeck was in the stands to see the return of the midfield genius.
Eagles loss means that for them to qualify for continental football they need to beat Zesco United in Week 38 or if Eagles fail to win then hope that Zanaco also fail to win thier last match.

The Bankers had to come back from behind twice an the winning goal came in the 89th minute through Boyd Musonda as they move to 67 points just a point behind Green Eagles and Green Buffalos.
