Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi says his side needs reinforcement if they are to put up a good showing in the 2019 CAF Champions League and it is his prayer for on-loan striker Idriss Mbombo to stay at the club.

“We have to reinforce in midfield and I hope Mbombo [Idris] will stay because he is here on loan [from Saudi Arabia], I trust my executive, I am positive that they will work out something,”

Chambeshi said after Nkana beat Green Eagles 1-0 in a Super Division Week 37 match in Kitwe on Wednesday.

Mbombo is the Super Division topscorer with 19 goals.

Nkana are second on the log with 72 points, eight behind champions Zesco United.
