Zesco United Coach George Lwandamina made a suprising passionate appeal to Zesco United fans to continue supporting the club which is currently in poor form.
The appeal came after the clubs press briefing this morning ahead of Sundays Caf Confederations Cup match against Asante Kotoko and Lwandamina decided to ask for a moment as he gave an interesting story of his youth to communicate the message more passionately.
Lwandamia described an incident where he and his freinds hired a man who used to climb on poles and was very good at it as they wanted to know his secret.
” When we were growing up there were these people we used to call Kamutanda ( Pole Climbers) and me and my freinds wanted to know how he used to climb the pole so one day we organised some money so that he could climb the poll” said Lwandamina
” The Kamutanda used to climb while people clapped so I told my friends that we will stop clapping at a certain point and when we stopped clapping and cheering for him he started struggling until he came down from the poll” continued Lwandamina
Lwandamina ended by stating that is when he discovered that the Kamutanda used the cheering as motivation to be brave and continue climbing and he said that Zesco United also need the same motivation from fans during this trying period and with encouragement the club will start climbing up again.
