CHAN Chipolopolo Team train
National team assistant coach Mumamba Numba says the inclusion of Larry Bwalya and Kelvin Kampamba will add value to the squad that is preparing for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) tie against Botswana.

Numba said with some players having become ineligible for the CHAN qualification after trekking to foreign leagues there was need to beef up the squad.

“We are looking at some players who have left to play abroad, that is why we thought of bringing Kelvin (Kampamba) and Larry (Bwalya). They are good players who can add value to the team that is why we called them,” he said.

He also expressed delight at the hundred percent turnout by all the players summoned for duty.
“We have a full house, we are very happy that everyone has reported. We have called a few more players just to have a wider selection so that we have the best possible players to represent mother Zambia,” Numba said.
