Mufulira Wanderers might have gone five matches without a win but being able to take a point off Nkwazi and leading to the firing of Chris Kaunda, might have felt like a victory.
That didn’t really help their position on the table though as they are still stuck at the bottom of the league table with KYSA beating Power Dynamos at home. They continue to provide plenty of fodder for writers and comics alike.
Goals against have been at a premium in their recent matches with their defence allowing 14 in eight games. That’s the worst in the league joint with KYSA.
KYSA is one of the few teams with a worse recent run and sits one place above Mufulira Wanderers on the table so while it might be a bit of a risk, you have to expect Maite to find a way to win here, even if it’s not pretty.
Yes KYSA are determined but this is a real chance for Maite to add a second win of the season and they are at home.
