Zambian winger Augustine Mulenga has been nominated for the Orlando Pirates LG player of the month of October following his recent heroics.

Mulenga has been amazing in all the four matches the Sea Robbers played in October scoring once and setting up one goal. The matches include a league victory over rivals Kaizer Chiefs, and the dispatching off of Chippa United to earn a place in the Telkom Knockout Quarterfinal.

Mulenga is up against fellow regular features in Vincent Pule, Thembinkosi Lorch, Ben Motshwari, Xola Mlambo and captain Happy Jele and Innocent Maela who is making his debut appearance on the list of nominees after his consistent performances were capped off by a Soweto Derby goal.
