Ashos Melu
Ashious Jordan Melu (6 June 1957 – 20 January 1997) , also known as Ashios or Ashols Melu played as a striker for the Zambia national soccer team and credited for having the hardest shots.
He was named Zambian footballer of the year in 1983 and 1987 respectively.

The Mufulira Wanderers hit-man captained Zambia to the 1988 Seoul Olympic games,in which Zambia became the first African country to reach the quarter finals.

Zambia drew 2-2 against Iraq in the opening game before thrashing Italy and Guatamala 4-0 apiece. They team lost 4-0 to West Germany in the quarter-finals.
