The hot debate now is who is the better player player between CHAN bound Alex Ng’onga and Nkana striker Ronald ‘ Sate-Sate’ Kampamba. Honestly why are we even having this debate ? Players have different attributes and these two are a clear indication.
Some sections are mocking Sate-Sate for the ommision, But does being ommitted from the national team mean you are not good enough ? Youremember Banda had a better season than many of those players in the final squad but could not make even the provisional squad. It’s about what the coach needs and players he is willing to work with and can adapt to his system.
Alex is good at making defenders work and has very high presence in the oppositions eighteen yard area. Sate-Sate (King) on the other hand is more of creativity and a lethal weapon in front of goal.
Leaving Sate-Sate simply means he thinks he has enough lethal strikers upfront and who are we to argue ? Unless he fails to deliver.
Another section are mocking Bazo for some of his previous unfortunate misses but was Patson Daka not treated the same way ? Have we not leant anything ? Let’s support the team and the coach .
Both players have their strengths and weaknesses. Bazo is a workaholic who is poor on finishing while Sate-Sate is good on creating and finishing but can’t work as hard as Bazo and has small stature which may be a disadvantage when the game gets physical.
Bazo is not good scorer of goals but a scorer of great goals.
