Nkana have confirmed the signing of Congolese striker Idriss Mbombo and four other players as they prepare for the 2018 season. They haven’t signed Fwayo Tembo.

Kalampa will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup this year.

Club media officer Lillian Musenge announced that Mbombo joins Nkana on a one- year loan deal from Al- Shabab F.C of Saudi Arabia.

Mbombo is a former Zesco United and Kabwe Warriors player.

Nkana have also signed Ghana keeper Stephen Adams on a two-year deal.

Meanwhile, striker Humphrey Maseneko has made a permanent move to Wusakile from Zesco United with defender Gift Zulu moving from Forest Rangers.

Forward Festus Mbewe has returned to Nkana on a one-year loan deal from Red Arrows.

“Yes, it is true we have signed the five players,” Musenge said on Monday.
